Genesal Energy generator sets designed to run at full capacity in the Qatari desert
/in Applications, Military Qatar/by creativoGensets designed to supply power for military telecommunications
/in Military, Applications Spain/by GestorFeatures
- Sound proofed to 65Dba AT 7m the generators have been installed in a specially designed cabin to comply with the exceptional dimensions and weight limits as requested by the client.
- They are redundant gensets with 2 engines and 2 alternators installed in each canopy.
- The gensets are mobile and have been installed on single or double axel trailers depending on their power. They have been designed to circulate either on public roads or complex terrain.
- They can work in adverse climatic conditions (from -32ºC to 49 ºC, heavy rainfall, icy conditions, solar radiation, sand, fog etc)
- These gensets were designed to be transportable by sea, air or railway.
They have to had to overcome a wide range of critical tests:
- Operate in elevated temperatures, up to +49 ºC.
- Operate in very low temperatures, as low as -32 ºC.
- Absorb sudden temperature changes of 13.4 ºC/min.
- Withstand solar radiation without any deterioration at up to 1120W/ m2.
- Operate in heavy rainfall a t up to 2,500l/ m2.
- Withstand up to 37mm thickness of ice formation.
- Resistant to sand and dust penetration.
- Work to 100% load at up to 3000m above sea level.
- Withstand up to 20G impacts.
- Withstand up to 10G sudden acceleration.
- Withstand shocks of 40G 6ms 1000 pulses.
- Withstand freefall of up to 50cm.
- Attain IP54/65 level of protection.
- High saline resistance.
- Operate in an acidic environment.
- Operate in conditions that have been contaminated with hazardous liquids.
- High resistance to mould and other microbe type species.
Genesal Energy supplies a fully operational Containerized Power Supply for a Mobile 3D Radar System
/in Applications, Military Spain/by GestorThe objective of this project was to supply fully operational power source for a Radar system.
The energy solution would supply independent electric power for the normal operation of a Tactical Radar System, with no requirement or dependence on other energy sources.
The Containerized Power Supply solution consisted of 2 gensets of the same type and model installed in a ISO-10’ container, each genset consists of an engine, alternator, fuel tank, switch panel, synchronisation and control panels, network monitoring and an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
In situations where the Radar System is deployed in places with a power supply, the Genesal System has been fitted with the capability to fully monitor the external power supply, and in case it should fail, switch to the emergency power supply or UPS. Should this situation occur it entails one of the gensets within the container initiating its operational sequence and consequentially ensuring a continued power supply to the Mobile Radar System. The Genset will operate for as long as the external power supply is off-grid.
Our commitment with R&D allow us to offer the best energy solutions for the military and defense application. We have the expertise needed to adapt each solution to every specific necessity of this field, always with the most strict confidentiality that this projects required.
Genesal Energy military gensets are compact, light, silent and easy to transport. They are ready to operate under the most extreme weather conditions, guaranteeing the power supply in all tactical situations.
Some features of our military generating sets are:
- Super-silent, for shelters.
- Trailer-mounted for easy transportation.
- Water-cooled or air-cooled.
- AC or DC generators.
- Compact and lightweight.
- Wide range of powers available.
