Extraordinary conditions, extraordinary equipment
Anti-seismic
When conditions are extraordinary, as is the case for land located in seismic zones, distributed power equipment must also be extraordinary.
Created to work in extreme situations
The purpose of the generator sets must always be the same: to ensure the supply of electrical energy in any circumstance and situation.
Always ready
Ready to resist the effects of earthquakes and maintain the energy supply to protect people and buildings from the damage caused by seismic vibrations, these units are specially designed and manufactured to resist seismic movements and to maintain the supply of electrical power at all times, even in extreme situations.
Robust and reliable
Anti-seismic generator sets are characterised by their great robustness and reliability. Their main advantage is that they can work autonomously without the need to connect to the electrical network. This makes them perfect for areas of the planet where the power supply is frequently interrupted due to earthquakes.
Practically infallible
Our anti-seismic generating sets are generators with high vibration absorption capacity. They are designed to operate even in the event of an earthquake. We come up with a solution adapted to a given seismic spectrum or to the seismicity in the area it is to be used in.
These machines are generally used in places such as mines, areas at greater risk of earthquakes (South America, Asia, islands…) or maximum security areas (nuclear power plants, military zones).
In accordance with a seismic spectrum provided by the client or typical spectra for the area it is to be used in, our engineers use CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) software to simulate how the generator would react in the event of an earthquake. Next, a bespoke solution is developed, acting on different components of the generator or the installation, with a view to ensuring that the machine works optimally with a safety factor above the starting spectrum.
The solution adopted may call for reinforcements such as threaded joints, welded reinforcements, special anti-seismic anti-vibration mounts, special high-strength materials or special bolts and ground anchors, etc.

- Anti-shock/anti-seismic vibrating mounts.
- Reinforced chassis.
- Reinforced base tank.
- Use of special materials.
- Use of special tamper-proof screws.
- Design for ground anchoring with anti-seismic bolts.
