Emergency Power Solutions for UK Hotels

On this occasion, our company once again strengthened its position in the hotel sector through the manufacture and supply of two generator sets designed to guarantee the electricity supply in two hotels in the north of the country.

In general, back-up equipment is part of the basic infrastructure of all hotel complexes. It is so by legal imperative as they help to avoid problems in the event of a mains failure.
Therefore, generator sets are essential in this type of building to guarantee the safety of workers and customers.

When an incident, failure or accident happens, all the services of the hotel facilities must continue to function normally, from elevators, to kitchens, rooms, swimming pools… otherwise not only economic losses would occur, but they could also cause brand reputation crisis.

In these two new projects carried out in Great Britain, we analyzed the characteristics and needs of both buildings during the design process. After analyzing all the aspects, we opted to manufacture a generator set of 200/220 kVA and another of 100/110 kVA. The two generator sets (each hotel needed a back-up unit) have a common feature: theirlow noise level, because to operate in hotel complexes noise level must be very low so as not to disturb customers and guarantee their rest.

Internationalization

In addition to reducing the decibel level to the maximum (they provide a maximum noise level of 75 dBA and 70 dBA at one meter), these machines were provided with great autonomy and, of course, were manufactured in accordance with British regulations.

Our extensive experience in the British market, where we have an important portfolio of clients and projects in different business lines (CPD, health and hotel sectors…) are a good business card for clients, since our knowledge of the legislation in force in the country provides security and guarantees the projects that we carry out in British territory.

Characteristics GEN110FI Model

Generator set specifically designed to provide a noise level of 75 dBA at 1 meter.
The monoblock was mounted on an oversized canopy including double thickness rockwool in the walls and upper air outlet aiming to reduce noise up to what the client requested.
In addition to the noise level, the design of the cabin was tailor-made insofar as rain gutters were included in the door frames, as well as a protection mesh to prevent the entry of animals.
As part of the custom design for the client, we incorporated their corporate branding on the outside of the canopy, which resulted in a personalized generator set.
