Turnkey emergency power for the future Sucre hospital, one of the most advanced specialty centres in Bolivia

Precision and high reliability are fundamental in all emergency generator sets, but both characteristics are even more indispensable when it comes to supplying power to hospitals. At Genesal Energy, we’re experts in supplying hospital emergency generators, as given the special characteristics of these facilities, it’s crucial to obtain the best results. Any failure in supply puts the patients’ lives in danger.

Amongst the latest projects carried out by Genesal Energy for the health sector is the design, manufacture and supply of a “turnkey” generator set for one of the best hospitals in the Department of Chuquisaca, in Bolivia. The future hospital is located in the city of Sucre and will be one of Bolivia’s health network’s most modern complexes. It will have 180 beds, a great parking lot and heliport, and will be a reference in the field of third-level, or highly specialized, hospitals.

Different loads

The client needed an emergency genset of 590-650 kVA for the hospital complex and Genesal Energy designed a generator set of great power in order to comply with the client’s needs given the different loads in the facility; guaranteeing power supply facing possible mains failures and thus, ensuring the hospital’s normal operation. These are the generator set’s main features.
