Without education there is no innovation, thus putting an end to development. That’s why at Genesal Energy we aim for quality education as a tool for progress.
We own our very own training center, inside our Technological Center for Distributed Energy, to offer continuous training not only to our staff, but also to our partners.
Throughout 2020 we carried out a total of 1.695 hours of training.
AFFORDABLE AND
CLEAN ENERGY.
The search for efficient energy is one of our strategic pillars.
To offer the market gensets which are respectful to the environment is a business challenge as well as a moral obligation. For this reason, we’re working towards a new energy model, boosting renewable energy in combination with conventional sources.
Projects such as OG+, Hybrid Microgeneration or Pyrogaz are examples of our commitment to the energy transition.
Pyrogaz: Design and development of a thermoelectric generation system through biomass gasification, capable of supplying power to areas without connection to mains supply, by taking advantage of local biomass.
Hybrid Microgeneration: Design and development of a generator set created especially for the power supply to remote areas with no availability of mains supply, through the use of storge systems for a greater energy efficiency.
OG+ Integration of various power generation technologies (renewable and conventional) into one system, completely independent from mains supply. This system allows for the energy demand of the consumer (electricity, heat, cold) to be supplied by renewable energy sources.

To promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, and full and productive employment for everyone is one of the points in the 2030 Agenda.
How are we doing our part at Genesal Energy? We’re signatories of the UN Global Pact, we look after our employees, ensuring work-life conciliation and the strict compliance with occupational safety and hazard prevention.
Furthermore, we demand the same ethics from our suppliers as we apply in our own company.
CLIMATE ACTION.
The transition towards a new more sustainable energy model is key in fighting against climate change.
We aim for projects which defend clean energy, those which care for the environment and reduce emissions. The design of more sustainable and efficient generator sets is a huge priority and its relevance is evergrowing at Genesal Energy. Proof of this are the numerous R&D projects we’ve involved ourselves in, such as Next Factory, in which sustainability and the development of generator sets which are more respectful to the environment are crucial.
Next Factory: This strategic project includes, amongst its areas of investigation and innovation, distributed generation and energy storage, in pursuit of consumption efficiency and avoiding the loss of energy as a consequence of the production process.
Stage V: At present, when it comes to generator sets, the standard of efficiency is known as Stage V. Pushing towards a greater air quality has become extremely important globally, and Europe hasn’t stayed on the sidelines. The legislation is evermore restrictive with regard to polluting emissions and greatly limits the hazardous substances contained inside exhaust gases originating from engines which operate on fossil fuels. At Genesal, we’re aware of what this challenge entails and we’ve wanted to take a step forward in the development of our generator set range containing Stage V engines, compliant with the emissions criterio established by these regulations.

We are a signatory to the United Nations GLOBAL PACT, where we are committed to the continued improvement of our activities and services.
This implies the nonviolation of human rights; the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining; the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour; the effective abolition of child labour; the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation. Additionally, businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges. Finally, businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery. Genesal Energy has implanted all of these criteria in the ethical code of the company.

We have certification in the Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001), which systematizes, in a simple way, the environmental aspects generated by each of the activities taking place in our organization.
It also promotes environmental protection and the prevention of pollution in balance with the socio-economic aspects.
