Characteristics of medium voltage generator sets
These generators are designed to supply the installation directly at high voltage, up to 15 kV. This allows large motors to be powered directly at medium voltage without requiring intermediate transformers and limits the size of supply cables when there are large distances.
Development
The group is designed based on the characteristics requested by the client.
Some basic features are:
- Standard alternators with anti-condensation heaters, PT100 sensors in windings, Class H insulation, and PMG system.
- Special winding for harmonic reduction.
- High-performance digital AVR regulator.
- Current and voltage transformers integrated into the alternator box.
