To meet this challenge, we developed a fully customised 220 kVA <a href=\"https:\/\/genesalenergy.com\/en\/applications\/data-center-generators\/\">data center generator set,<\/a> soundproofed in a 3,800 mm canopy, equipped with a double-capacity fuel tank to extend autonomy, and structurally adapted for outdoor installation &#8211; exposed to adverse weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p>One of the main technical challenges was adapting the design of the generator set to its outdoor location, next to the building&#8217;s fa\u00e7ade. We incorporated an upper air outlet protected by a weather louvre, ensuring optimum performance even in unfavourable weather conditions. In addition, a precise calculation of the necessary cross-sections for gas inlet and outlet was carried out, ensuring efficient ventilation of the system at all times.<\/p>\n<p>This project is an example of how customisation, efficient engineering and energy reliability can come together to respond to the demands of a constantly evolving industry such as data centres, where there is no room for error.<\/p>\n<h3>Our Engineering solution<\/h3>\n<p>A customised generator set was designed and manufactured in a 3,800 mm soundproofed canopy. To meet the autonomy requirements, a 1,200 litre tank was installed in the base frame, optimised to guarantee the necessary hours according to the estimated fuel consumption and other technical specifications.<\/p>\n<h3>Features<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Supply: Monoblock engine-alternator in soundproofed 3800 canopy.<\/li>\n<li>1200L double-capacity tank integrated in the baseframe.<\/li>\n<li>Oversized GSI 230 (-30dB) silencer model.<\/li>\n<li>ComAp InteliLite AMF 25 IL4 control panel<\/li>\n<li>320 A set circuit breaker<\/li>\n<li>440mm VSG 440mm gauge for double-capacity tank.<\/li>\n<li>Tudor TC900 90 Ah battery<\/li>\n<li>Upper air outlet prepared for outdoor installation.<\/li>\n<li>Calculation of sections required for gas inlet and outlet in the room.<\/li>\n<li>Hotstart 1000W preheating system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At a time of accelerated growth in the data centre sector, guaranteeing a continuous and reliable power supply has become a priority.
