The corresponding load calculations were carried out by our Engineering Department to select the ideal, <a href=\"https:\/\/genesalenergy.com\/en\/specialised-generators\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">customised generator set<\/a>. In a project as large as the one undertaken on the island of Majorca, the generator sets have to be extremely precise.<\/p>\n<p>The future WWTP will increase the capacity of the existing one to 90,000 cubic metres a day, which means providing a service for a million inhabitants. The infrastructure will also have sludge treatment for its use in agriculture. In a second phase the biological treatment lines will be completed up to 90,000 cubic metres per day. In addition, a new five-kilometre submarine outfall will be built.
