Due to its glacial hydrology, it is also <strong>very sensitive to the effects of climate change<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Tajikistan, with no access to the sea and a 90% of mountainous terrain, is classified as the most vulnerable country to climate change in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region. The frequency of droughts, floods and landslides have increased in recent years and the country urgently needs to reinforce its electricity supply facilities because network improvements are vital to provide the population with a service as basic as energy. The generator\u2019s mission consists of providing emergency power to the installation in the event of a drop in the electricity supply, guaranteeing in that way the correct operation of the plant, thanks to its start-up in record time.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of the hydroelectric plant, a generator set with very good weather resistance was needed to withstand the cold and humidity in the winter months.<\/p>\n<p>The generator set designed by our team of engineers has all the necessary protections: special paint treatment against rust, IP54 protection degree of the canopy, and monitored grilles that completely isolate the generator from inclement weather when it is not running and reduce the risk of water ingress if it is in operation.
