Energetic Transition Professorship fully booked. The 1st SME Corporate Carbon Footprint Seminar, a success.

How to tackle the challenge of climate change within Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and explain to companies the importance of the carbon footprint as a KPI within their ecologic transition strategies were the main objectives of the 1st SME Corporate Carbon Footprint Seminar which took place on the 8th of November in the Sciences Faculty of the Terra Campus, Lugo.
This free symposium, organised by the Genesal Energy-USC Energetic Transition Professorship, was aimed at SME’s professionals and technicians interested in knowing more about the carbon footprint of their activities and how to reduce its environmental impact. The conferences were a success.

Theoretical and practical sessions.

Without a hint of a doubt, the seminar model combining theory and practice was very well received by the participants who fully booked the available seats.

The programme included interactive sessions in the IT room where attendants got familiar with the methodology and carbon footprint measuring tools as well as with its register procedures. Furthermore, the seminar taught by professionals from companies, the administration and the university included case studies.

The 1st SME Corporate Carbon Footprint Seminar is part of the activities we carry out in our Energetic Transition Professorship to help fighting climate change. To put our energy and energetic transition knowledge within the reach of all interested, especially groups as important as the SMEs, is one of our priorities in the field of training. We’ll keep moving forward!
